Kingspan Kooltherm K103 Floorboard Phenolic Insulation

Kooltherm K103 Floorboard is a premium performance floor insulation that provides a thermal conductivity of just 0.019 W/m·K across all thicknesses.

As part of our Kooltherm K100 range, it provides a level of performance that is unrivaled in the world of rigid thermoset insulation materials with a fibre-free rigid thermoset phenolic core.

Manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero ODP and low GWP, it is used to insulate beam and block, concrete and timber floors.

Certifications:

The product shall be manufactured: with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP); under a management system certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001: 2004; BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 50001: 2011; by Kingspan Insulation Limited; and installed in accordance with the instructions issued by them.

 Facings:

Kingspan Kooltherm® K103 Floorboard produced at Kingspan Insulation’s Pembridge manufacturing facility is faced on both sides with a glass tissue-based facing, autohesively bonded to the insulation core during manufacture.

 Core:

The core of Kingspan Kooltherm® K103 Floorboard is a premium performance fibre-free rigid thermoset phenolic insulant manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

• Thermal resistance: 8.30m²K/W.

• Facings: glass tissue.

• Compressive strength: 120kPa at 10% compression.

• Fire rating: Euroclass C-s2,d0
