Tecsound is a visco-elastic membrane for damping vibration.
It is a dense rubber-like material that is often used in soundproofing systems. Most
Tecsound products we sell are self-adhesive so can be stuck directly between two layers of soundproof plasterboard.
It is easy to cut to size and can be purchased in half rolls to make for easier application and manoeuvring.
Tecsound is a highly effective upgrade when soundproofing a wall, ceiling or floor, particularly against airborne noise.

TECSOUND is a polymer based, bitumen-free, high-density synthetic membrane.

The combination of its viscoelasticity and its high-density offers good soundinsulation in different construction elements without increasing thickness.

The upper face is finished with a non-woven polypropene reinforcement fleece which offers also protection.

The lower face is finished with a polyethene film.
APPLICATIONS

In combination with sound-absorbent materials, it results in products with high acoustic performance characteristics.

Its applications in the industrial sector range from machine enclosures, drainpipes, acoustic damping of metal sheets, etc.

Airborne noise insulation for vertical surfaces with low surface mass (lightweight partitions or panels in various materials).

Airborne noise insulation for ceilings and roofs.

Reduction of impact noise level in floating floors.

Damping of impact noise produced by atmospheric agents in metals roofs.

Our team will review your email and respond with a secure payment link. For your security, we do not process payments over the phone. Once payment is received, your order will be processed, and our team will notify you when it’s ready for collection. |
