Norcros Pro 10 Levelling Compound is a single part, self-smoothing levelling compound suitable for use up to 10mm in one single application.
The excellent levelling and flow properties of the product make it ideal for preparing sub-floors prior to fixing ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. It is ideal for encapsulating under-tile heating mats and cables, protecting the heating elements during the tile fixing process, as well as providing a level surface.
Features and benefits:
· Bed thickness: 0–10 mm.
· Self-smoothing and good abrasion resistance.
· Can be tiled on after three hours.
· Suitable for under-tile heating.
· Typical strength: CT C30-F9.
Applications:
Suitable substrates include concrete, cement:sand screed, anhydrite/ hemihydrate screeds, existing vinyl/ flooring grade asphalt, existing glazed tiles and heated floors.
Norcros Prime Bond is recommended on certain substrates, including power-floated concrete; see technical literature for details. Norcros Key Bond may be used as an alternative on existing glazed tiles and power-floated concrete.
Norcros Wet Seal Tanking Membrane is recommended for use in wet areas (or intermittent wetting such as showers and moisture-sensitive backgrounds).
Norcros Permalayer anti-fracture membrane may be used on newly poured (48 hours) concrete/ power-floated concrete and sand:cement screed.
Under-tile heating cables and mats should be encapsulated in a bed of Norcros Pro 10+ Compound.
Not for external or total immersion applications.
Technical characteristics:
· Setting time at 20°C: Three hours for ceramic/ porcelain tiles. 24 hours for natural stone. 48 hours for soft floor coverings.
· Coverage: 4 kg/m² at 3 mm thickness (approximately).
