Suspended Floor Insulation is used used to seal any gaps between joists and battens. This will prevent draughts, offer soundproofing benefits and will improve the energy efficiency of your property. In normal circumstances a mineral wool would be used like Rockwool Flexi Slab or Knauf Omnifit® Slab, using other materials like PIR or XPS or Phenolic insulation will work also and add further benefits.
